Description

International scientific journal "Materials Physics and Mechanics" is published by Institute of Problems of Mechanical Engineering (Russian Academy of Sciences) in both hard copy and electronic versions. The journal provides an international medium for the publication of reviews and original research papers written in either Russian or English and focused on the following topics: Mechanics of nanostructured materials (such as nanocrystalline materials, nanocomposites, nanoporous materials, nanotubes, quantum dots, nanowires, nanostructured films and coatings). Physics of strength and plasticity of nanostructured materials, physics of defects in nanostructured materials. Mechanics of conventional materials (solids). Physics of strength and plasticity of conventional materials (solids). All contributions may not be published elsewhere. All papers submitted will be rigorously peer-reviewed prior to publication.
