The evolution of the UNS 6617 alloy microstructure during the hot deformation
and the effect of hot deformation parameters on the grain structure and on the dynamic
recrystallization were studied. A mathematical model which is capable to calculate the
dynamically recrystallized austenite grain size of the alloy was built.
