THERMAL STRESSES IN A CIRCULAR PLATE
BY A MOVING HEAT SOURCE

Abstract

In the present paper, the problem of dynamic thermal stresses in a circular plate by a moving heat source subject to certain boundary conditions is studied. Solutions and numerical results are obtained for the temperature, displacement and stress components. Numerical results are given and illustrated graphically.
