INFLUENCE OF POINT DEFECTS ON ULTRASONIC WAVES PROPAGATING IN
THE THIN PLATE

Abstract

In the linear formulation a two-dimensional self-consistent problem of the propagation of elastic (ultrasonic) waves in the plate, taking into account its interaction with point defects present in its material is provided. We study the effect of point defects on the dispersion laws of planar and bending elastic waves.
