NONLINEAR TORSION DYNAMICS OF THE N-PARAFFIN CRYSTAL

Abstract

The nonlinear dynamical equations, which describe the torsion oscillations of the nparaffin (alkanes) crystal have been derived in the framework of the coarse-grain model. The essentially nonlinear discrete equations reflect the influence of the internal multi-well conformation potential of the paraffin chain as well as the symmetry of the molecular field of the chain environment at the arbitrary large oscillation amplitudes.
