Abstract

The Er(DBH)2(NO3)2]NO3 complex was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, and IR. The photoacoustic (PA) spectra of the f-f transitions in Er(III)-hydrazone have shown that they are over an order of magnitude more intense than similar transitions in the Er(III)-hydrazine complex. A new, very narrow and intense PA absorption line is recorded at 715 nm for Er(III)-hydrazone complex
