FABRICATION OF Ni NANO POWDER USING WIRE EXPLOSION PROCESS AND ITS CHARACTERIZATION

Abstract

We fabricated Ni nanopowders using wire explosion process and investigated an effect of the charging voltage on the particle size and the dispersibility. Ni nanoparticles with a few nm to 100 nm could be successfully fabricated without the clustering between particles. With increasing the charging voltage, the mean particle size slightly decreased from 40nm to 27nm.
