Sergei A. Plotnikov

Sergei Aleksandrovich Plotnikov was born in Chelyabinsk, Russia, on the 27th of February, 1991. He received the Diploma degree in applied mathematics and computer science from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, Saint Petersburg State University, Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 2013, and the Candidate of Sciences (Ph.D.) degree in discrete mathematics and theoretical cybernetics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, Saint Petersburg State University, Saint Petersburg, in 2016. (PhD thesis - "Synchronization control and bifurcations in FitzHugh-Nagumo systems"). He has been working as senior researcher in the lab "CCS" IPME RAS since 2018. He is also a part time assistant professor with the Faculty of Control Systems and Robotics of ITMO University.

Research interests: nonlinear and adaptive control; control of oscillations; network dynamics; cybernetical physics.
