Senior scientific researcher, Ph.D (physics and mathematics). Born in 1941.
Graduated from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1970. (Physical-mechanical Faculty; Mechanics and Control Processes Dept.). Ph.D (mathematical cybernetics), 1978, from St. Petersburg State University.
Since 1970 till 1987 occupied different research positions in a Research Centre of Defence Ministry. Since 1987 is a senior researcher in IPME RAS (Institute for Problems of Mechanical Engineering, Russian Academy of Scienses).
Current interests are in the field of Design and Control under Uncertainty with respect to Reliability Theory.
Has about 60 publications including 25 inventions.
