Influence of acousticd bridges on sound penetration through a double elastic partition in a rectangular waveguide

The steady-state scattering of normal waves in a waveguide of rectangular cross-section is investigated. Waveguide is partitioned by two thin elastic plates. The plates are fastened among themselves for obtaining mechanical strength to the double partition. The fastening created by the acoustical bridge between the double partition which essentially influences on the penetration process of acoustic a waves.

The exact analytical solution of the problem of influence of acoustical bridge on penetration. The waves through the double partition in the waveguide is obtained. The numerical research of frequency dependence of transmission coefficients through an obstacle in the waveguide is done. The various variants of a mutual fastening of the plates are considered.
