"MODELLING and ANALYSIS of SAFETY and RISK
in COMPLEX SYSTEMS" (MA SR – 2010)


STATUS

The anniversary Tenth International Scientific School "Modeling and Analysis of Safety and Risk in Complex Systems (MASR - 2010)" will be held in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, July 6 - 10, 2010. The School will be organized by Institute of Problems of Mechanical Engineering of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Saint-Petersburg Institute of Informatics and Automation of RAS and Bureau of Credit Risk Estimation and Analysis "INO_TEL" Ltd. with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.

Leading and well-known scientists will give lectures in the field of financial, social, informational and technical risks. The scientific program includes reports and software demonstrations. All participants will have the possibility to see the wonderful city Saint-Petersburg.

The official languages of the School are English and Russian.

AREAS of INTEREST

The main research areas to be discussed at the School in the year 2010 are:

1.

Problems of development of I3 - technologies (intellectual, informational, innovative) for management of risk and efficiency in economic and technical systems under statistical data;

2.

Development of models for successful decision of complex problems;

3.

The consideration of methods of quantitative estimation, analysis, forecasting and management of risk and efficiency in economics, engineering and medicine;

4.

Consideration of types of events under statistical data, classes of logical and probabilistic models of risk and efficiency, procedures of I3 - technologies;

Forecasting of risk and crisis in complex systems;

Consideration of applications of I3 - technologies in economics and engineering;

Prior publication all papers will be peer refereed. We will send the invitation to authors of accepted papers before May 1, 2010 by E_mail.
