Scientific Collaboration
The LFW believes that through mutual scientific cooperation with
foreign partners we are able to provide greater results. That
is why we openly invite tribology-oriented foreign entities to
work with us.
Industrial Collaboration
The Laboratory provides an extensive range of industrial expertise
on tribology-related industrial problems in the following areas:
wear of metals
material selection for tribological applications
failure analysis of bearings and gears
Teaching
The IPME provides an opportunity for postgraduate students
to write their dissertations in an institute that is of a scientifically
high standard.
